On the 7th April, Lucille Turner, founder of The Divorce Solicitor Trap, won her case against the firm of solicitors that had caused her months of anguish. "Justice," says Lucille, "was finally done..."

After months of waiting in the complaints queue, she faced her solicitors as a litigant in person claiming a refund of more than half her legal bill. 

"It has been a long road," says Lucille. "I feel as though some sort of justice has been done - for me at least. The hearing was about costs in my case, and the points of dispute had done the rounds back and forth between my solicitors and myself. This felt like the final showdown.

I won the case; the judge awarded a refund of over half my legal fees together with my costs and interest. It has been a long time coming, but it just goes to show that if you hang in there with enough conviction, you can turn the tables on legal service scoundrels in court."
