• identify clearly your objectives in relation to the work to be done on your behalf;
• give you a clear explanation of the issues involved and the options available to you;
• confirm any information about the cost clearly and in writing.
• advise the client that there are circumstances where you may be entitled to exercise a lien for unpaid costs
